- Served as president of the Middle Atlantic League professional baseball league from 1926 to 1951.
- Organized and operated the Pennsylvania State Association as president from 1934 to 1942.
- Member of Executive Committee for National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues.
- Played professional baseball for three years and semi-pro ball after his pro career ended.
- Had a 9-9 pitching record and .235 batting average for 1910 Williamsport Millionaires in pro Tri-State League.
- Coached collegiately at Waynesburg, Fairmont State and West Virginia Wesleyan as well as Windber High School.
- Athletic director at St. Francis College.
