Accomplishments
- A three-time All-American on the nationally acclaimed Pitt-Johnstown women’s basketball team.
- After finishing her UPJ basketball career, she joined the U.S. Women’s Handball Team.
- Competed in the 1988 Olympics Games in Seoul, Korea.
- Scored 1,237 points at Pitt-Johnstown.
- Set a UPJ career-record with 754 assists, including what was a single-season mark of 257 assists in 1982-83.
- Twice had a UPJ record 16 assists in a game.
- A three-time All-American, Latterner-Brown was a NCAA Division II first-team selection as a senior in 1984-85 on a 26-3 team.
- Joined U.S. Women’s Handball Team in August 1985 and was part of the 1987 Pan-American Games gold-medal winning squad.
- Part of Team USA that won one game in Seoul Olympic Games.
- Participated in a women’s handball tour featuring the U.S. and Russian teams that toured the East Coast together, including a stop at Cambria County War Memorial Arena.
