Greater Johnstown High School graduate LaRod Stephens-Howling was nicknamed “The Hyphen” during his National Football League career with the Arizona Cardinals.
Stephens-Howling often was deserving of an exclamation point after some of his long kickoff returns, several of which ended in the end zone.
Whether breaking records at Greater Johnstown High School, playing four seasons at the University of Pittsburgh, or throughout his NFL career with the Cardinals and briefly with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Stephens-Howling overcame obstacles and produced.
Currently, he is an assistant football coach at Robert Morris University.
