The Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1965 when our first banquet was held in front of a large crowd at Cambria County War Memorial Arena.

In the decades that have followed, the Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame has recognized 125 inductees whose success in athletics brought national recognition to Cambria County and the surrounding region. Banquets recognizing each class have been held at locations ranging from the War Memorial to the Crown Ballroom at the Holiday Inn to most recently the Frank Pasquerilla Conference Center. The Class of 2014 will be announced soon, adding more names and faces to the hall of fame.

Our wall-sized plaque listing all of the inductees and their respective sports may be found in the concourse of Cambria County War Memorial Arena. Banners honoring each hall of fame class also are on display at the arena.

This website includes biographies and photographs of all 125 inductees as well as other historical information and facts about the hall of fame and its members. The website is complemented by our social media presence on Facebook and Twitter.
