CCSHOF 19th Induction Ceremony is approaching!

The 19th Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony and banquet is coming quickly. Mark your calendar for July 9.

The event will begin with a 6 p.m. social hour at the Pasquerilla Conference Center. The banquet will follow. For ticket and advertisement info, check out the link on this website.

The Class of 2016 will include John Goettlicher, Karlee McQuillen, Samantha Pollino, Gen. George B. Simler (posthumous), Geroy Simon and Evan Slonac.

Teams honored will include the 1986 Johnstown Vo-Tech District 6-AAAA champion football team 30 years after one of the region’s biggest upsets; the 2005-06 Conemaugh Valley High School girls basketball PIAA Class A state runner-up; and the 2004-05 and 2005-06 Westmont Hilltop High School girls basketball PIAA Class AA state runner-up squads.
