Frank Solich retires after successful tenure at Ohio University; CCSHOF inductee also led Nebraska program

Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame member Frank Solich (Class of 2004) announced his retirement after 16 football seasons and 115 victories as head coach at Ohio University.

Solich, 76, retired as the winningest coach in MAC history.

The Johnstown native previously had coached at his alma mater, the University of Nebraska, leading the Cornhuskers to a 58-19 record.
