Reg Kent had a knack for both finding the net or setting up his teammates in goal-scoring situations with the Johnstown Jets in the former Eastern Hockey League during the mid-1960s through early-1970s.
The 6-foot-2 playmaker skated in 601 games with the Jets, from 1964-65 through 1973-74. Kent scored 273 goals, provided 540 assists and tallied 813 points, the third-highest total in Johnstown professional hockey history.
His No. 7 was retired by the former Johnstown Chiefs professional hockey team in 2009.
