Karlee McQuillen won two state championships at Westmont Hilltop High School

Accomplishments

  • Inducted into the Pennsylvania High School Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2015.
  • Won two state titles and had one runner-up finish in the javelin while at Westmont Hilltop High School. Also played on two Westmont state runner-up girls basketball teams.
  • Two-time first-team All-American honoree from Track & Field News while at Penn State.
  • Big Ten champion in the javelin with a 162-10 throw as a senior in 2011. Took silver in the conference as a junior and sophomore.
  • NCAA Second-Team All-American as a senior after placing 10th in the javelin at national outdoor meet.
  • Finished eighth in the 2011 USATF Outdoor Championships with a javelin throw of 170-1 and competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials at University of Oregon in 2012.
  • Two-time NIKE Outdoor National champion in javelin while in high school.
  • Competed at World Junior Championships in Poland in 2008, finishing 14th.
