Accomplishments
- Played running back and on special teams during parts of five National Football League seasons with the Arizona Cardinals (2009-2012) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2013 until injury in season opener ended his career).
- Career statistics in NFL included 670 rushing yards and five touchdowns; 545 receiving yards and three touchdowns; and 4,092 return yards and three touchdowns.
- Led the NFL in kickoff return yards in 2010 with 1,548 yards and had two TD returns.
- Returned a kickoff 102 yards against Oakland in Week 3 in 2010.
- Had 1,257 return yards and one touchdown in 2009.
- Drafted by the Cardinals in the seventh round in 2009.
- Played four seasons at the University of Pittsburgh, the first two as the starting running back.
- Led Pitt in rushing in 2005 (434 yards) and 2006 (893 yards). Rushed for 1,959 career yards at Pitt. Had 17 total touchdowns as well as 52 receptions for 454 yards.
- Honored at Pitt with the Demale Stanley Most Inspirational Award and David Sandberg Champion Award, which both take into account dedication to team and excellence on and off the field.
- Served as a volunteer assistant coach at Robert Morris University in 2015 and returned to Pitt in 2016 as a graduate assistant coach under Pat Narduzzi for an 8-5 season that included wins over Top-10 teams Penn State and eventual national champion Clemson.
- Rejoined the Robert Morris program as an assistant coach in 2017.
- Two-time, first-team Associated Press Class AAA All-State selection at Greater Johnstown High School.
- Broke the Trojans’ career rushing record with 4,597 yards, surpassing a standard that had stood for 29 years.
- As a senior rushed for an area-best 1,875 yards and 32 touchdowns to earn his second Tribune-Democrat Offensive Player of the Year award.
- Shattered Greater Johnstown’s single-season record with 2,226 rushing yards as a junior and earned Tribune-Democrat Offensive Player of the Year.
