Accomplishments
- Northern Cambria High School graduate who starred in multiple sports for the Colts.
- Two-sport standout at Juniata College earned All-America honors in both women’s volleyball and track and field while playing for Division III program in the late 1990s.
- Named Middle-Atlantic Conference (MAC) Volleyball Player of the Year and AVCA First-Team All-American in 1997 at Juniata College after leading team with 485 kills, 3.91 kills average, 93 service aces, 63 blocks, 72 digs and .266 hitting percentage.
- Among Juniata career leaders with 2,977 attacks and 301 aces on the volleyball court.
- Earned All-American honors in the shot put with a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Division III championship event in 1998 and was a MAC champion in the event at Juniata College.
- Had a then-Juniata College record shot put throw of 43-6, breaking the previous mark she had set.
- Held Juniata College pentathlon record with 2,249 points.
- Produced consistent winners and earned honors for her coaching of volleyball during a six-season career at Division II California University of Pennsylvania.
- From 2002-07, compiled a record of 161-49 at California and had five NCAA Division II Tournament appearances, three regional finals, two PSAC championships and one NCAA Atlantic Region Championship appearance.
- Her 2004 Vulcans team went 28-7 and reached the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship event.
- California (Pa.) went 33-3 in 2005 and posted another 30-win season in 2006, reaching both the finals of the PSAC and NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournaments.
- Her 2007 Vulcans team went 35-4 overall and achieved the program’s first undefeated PSAC West season in 25 years. The team had a school-record 33-match winning streak.
- Had a successful nine-year run coaching volleyball at NCAA Division I Illinois State University, compiling a 168-116 record.
- Led Illinois State to Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) regular-season and tournament titles in 2014 when the team went 27-6.
- Her Redbirds had a 23-match winning streak and went undefeated in MVC play in 2014.
- In 2014, Illinois State advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007 and won its first NCAA Tournament match since 1996.
- Myers was named Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year and AVCA North Region Coach of the Year in 2014.
- Coached 27 all-MVC selections, 7 all-region picks, and 3 All-American volleyball players at Illinois State.
- Inducted in the Juniata College Sports Hall of Fame in 2008 and the California University of Pennsylvania Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.
